The answer is:
1) Roughly less than 1 hour if the mode of transportation is taxi
2) More than 1 hour if you choose to travel by public transportation
such as buses,MRT(Fast train) since they will stop only at
designated route ie; KL sentral station,Kuala Lumpur and you
have to take another bus, taxi or train just to reach Subang
airport.

Here is the option:
- Pick option 1 if you are in hurry and doesnt mind paying a bit
extra than usual in order to reach Subang airport in time.
- Pick option 2 if you want to save money and doesnt mind about
how long will you reach at Subang airport(since you will be at 1
bus station to another since the route to Subang airport are
different)

I hope this little information will help you, cheers

Hi global, Happy New Year to you my friend.

Subang is no longer an airport - it's now the racing circuit that hosts among other events the Formula 1 car race.

It changed status and fuction in 1998 whilst I was in KL because KLIA became fully operational. Which meant I landed in Subang but left Malaysia from KLIA in Sepang.

As for getting from one to the other and how long it takes is variable and dependent on traffic density (eg. rush hour), mode of transport, etc. So your guesstimate would be as good as mine.

i have one word for you - ENJOY!!! you'll have one hour just to enjoy & appreciate the architecture. currently it's the 2nd best airport in asia pacific, beating singapore's changi airport and hong kong international airport. there's plenty of shopping spots there but 7 hours might feel a little too long. you may take a limo and visit KL city in the mean time. (KLIA is not located in KL city, it's about half an hour drive away from the city.)

Subang is no longer an airport unless you want to board a military plane.

But it takes around 1h 15 minute from KLIA
