It is my understanding that squat toilets are available in places like Japan and so forth, but does anyone know where such an item can be sourced in the UK? Any good websites that possibly sell this?
For clarity, when I say a squat toilet I am referring to the type that is commonly used in non-western countries and is essentially a porcelain bowl that is practically flush with floor level thus requiring the user to squat rather than sit.
Any info. would be great!!!

Horrible things! Was on a remote Taiwanese island for several days and had to use one. First of all, I didn't know which way I should face, so faced the door and missed. The next time I turned the other way, grabbed the bowl, and let go - missed again.
They're even worse than the Philippine midget toilets with no flush.

Never seen one here. You'd have to go over the channel. I remember being confronted with one of these in France. Sorry, but I found the whole thing gross.
