My Question: Does anyone know of a reliable broadband service provider for Santa Maria Bulacan Philippines that provides 128kbps guaranteed? (Also if you know the monthly cost, that would be great too!)

I use Smart wireless in Manila (P999 a month) and it sucks. Slower than dial-up. Would not reccomend it. In addition, friends in Alabang had it and there were too many trees and they could never get a connection. Does PLDT not serve Sta Maria? What about Globelines?

No one will guarantee 128kbps....it will always be "speeds up to 384 kbps", etc. Ask other people who live there what they have and what their average speed it.

Ever try the Smart Wi-Fi? I've been using it for over a year now. Go to a Smart store in any mall and sign up.

hhhmm...too far to be reached by Comcast , Q-West or Verizon I believe..but , is there a T-mobile , cingular, AT & T or sprint telecomunications company in that place? These are the best.....so try to check out with them...the reps can help you.
