I've flown into BKK about 20 times and my next trip will be soon, I'm thinking the flight will go into the new airport. Wondering what it is like, has anyone come and gone there yet? Is the airport tax still 500 Bht? How far to Sukumvit from there?

i'm planning on studying abroad in China next year. It's only my 2nd year in chinese class but i need to know from natives, or people that know or have been there....what is a must that i must do? like go here or go there? or EAT THIS! don't forget to buy this and bring it back home cause u won't find it anywhere else... TRY THIS...etc. serious answers please....oh ya i'm going specifically to Beijing thats where the school is...so i have the peking kao ya, dumplings, baozi, what else? no characters please- i might not understand and then end up with another puzzle

I'm filipino american, I'm trying to understand more about who I should bless. Usually I make mano to my lolo or lola or any other elder. Is it ok If I bless my tita? or should I just give a besso? what about my Tito's? Usually I give them a hand shake, should bless my eldest tito? or should I bless all titos?

I've actually booked tickets to Bangkok, Thailand. I'll be flying off to Bangkok on this coming 28th Feb and i'm supposed to depart Bangkok on 7th March.

The problem is, in between this period, I have to fly over to Malaysia for a day. Say, I leave Bangkok for Malaysia on the 3rd of March, & go back to Bangkok on 4th March. And i'll continue to stay there 'til 7th March.

Will I have any problems at the checkpoint? Because I'll have a Bangkok visa in my passport and yet i'm flying over to Malaysia during my stay.

Just a quick summary:

SIN --> BKK --> SIN (previous plan)
SIN -->BKK-->KUL-->BKK-->SIN (new plan, possible?)

I'd be really really grateful if anyone can clarify my doubts. Thanks!
