Hi, my wife and I moving to Khor Fakkan in 2 weeks, and we plan to stay at the Hotel Oceanic for about 5 days while we search for more permanent accomodation. Apart from the Oceanic, are there any other (cheaper) alternatives in either Fujairah or KF?

Also, just on the off-chance, does anyone know of any apartments or villas available (in Fujairah or KF) around the end of this month (August)?

Many thanks!

My husband is being offered a VERY nice biochem job in the UAE, and is considering taking it. I know NOTHING about the UAE, and need help with what I would expect moving there from here in the US. I have a job here, but my husband says I would not need to work there. He is Arab, and speaks the language..but I only speak English. We have two kids. Any real help, ideas, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. He has not taken the offer yet, just seriously considering it.
