If it is not a "salary transfer" loan as you mentioned then your present company is not obligated to inform the bank accordingly or transfer your end of service benefits. But I believe you have given them your personal cheques in terms of security and the repayments will be on monthly instalments.

If you got an offer letter from your proposed employer and you can able to comeback within a month, better you should contact the bank and explain them the situation. May be they will ask a guarantor with his personal cheque to secure your outstanding loan and/or an undertaking letter from the bank where your salary is being transferred.

Make necessary arrangements with the bank prior to your departure to avoid unexpected problems at the airport.

Good luck.

It 's better you let the bank know you situation, either way I think you have to pay especially if your present visa has been cancelled. Rightfully with your present visa being cancelled you should pay the loan as no one has guarantees you will be back. If it is a big loan, airport security usually will know as everything is computerised these days. Too many people have ran off without paying debts, so there is more security now.

You should not have any trouble leaving as the bank loan is an arrangement between yourself and the bank and is a private matter. As you have made arrangements for instalments to be paid whilst you are away no one would query it. We all go away on holidays etc, owing money to banks, but it does not affect our status to travel where ever we want.

If you have continually paid your monthly installments, there should not be any problem at all. after 6 months of non-payment the bank will submit your name for blocking. Then you would have problems coming back.
