To be frank, dubai is very costly now a days.... You need to have atleast minimum of 15k for normal life...
4000 rent/month, studio flat
5000 rent/month single bedroom
schooling atleast 1300/month/student
food 2000 for four if cokked in home... at maximum
car EMI 1000 nearly - for yaris/corolla
License cost is more u need to invest atleast 4-5k for that 1.
so do take care
but dubai is best place for family, bachelor than any other GCC, itz almost europe execpt the climate

The rent is currently skyrocketing in Dubai. if you are looking at a single bedroom with a decent lifestyle, you require a minimum of 25000dhms per month.

This question has been asked many times and you get different answers depending on who you talk to. My suggestion is that you ask your the HR dept of your prospective employer. Also the salary they offer is some indication. The best deal is to get housing provided by the employer and then you are laughing. Food and other necessities are reasonably priced except housing which is damn expensive.
