actually we are going on a month long vacation to dubai and kuwait and uae and oman any specific things i need to keep in mind as a non muslim............?

If your not married try wearing a wedding ring on your finger anyway so that men will leave you alone. (Although this wont be a problem in most places like Dubai)

first its UAE ( Dubai is city ), Oman and Kuwait.
nothing in specfic but there is something very importent. visit this page:

ignore everything on it and press on the speakers. this sound call (athan) you will here it 5 times a day. when you'll hear it close any music your listing to.

Alcohol is banned in most countries. Don't try asking for one.
It's legal in Dubai and Bahrain. I'd like someone to correct/elaborate on this.

just enjoy your time and avoid nudity and drinking outside hotels or bars.

The countries you are going to are multinational , muti-religion countries and people are used to meet non muslim people .
but in general :

wear decent clothes
avoid hugging and kissing in public
