Hi, my wife and I moving to Khor Fakkan in 2 weeks, and we plan to stay at the Hotel Oceanic for about 5 days while we search for more permanent accomodation. Apart from the Oceanic, are there any other (cheaper) alternatives in either Fujairah or KF?
Also, just on the off-chance, does anyone know of any apartments or villas available (in Fujairah or KF) around the end of this month (August)?

I have been to a few places there with my family- great place! try staying at the Sandy Beach Hotel?motel or the Holiday beach Hotel all with chalets open to the beach and swimming pools for both adults and kids ( kid sized). Tips:
Take a box of water and lots of drinks ( far cheaper) some breakfast stuff too - they have a kitchenette. When you want to make a barbcue they will give you one, and also an electric kettle. There are also scuba diving places nearby. try to visit the Friday market while you are there- ask hotel management about it. Call ahead for bookings.
