I know he was of the old community in Amsterdam and his father worked as a sexton in one of its synagogues. My question is did he belong to the Ashkenaz or Sephardic community?

I am talking about "faithful-to-thier hertiage" Arabian guys. Not just descended-and-look-like-them ones. Immigrants with the same mind of their own country.
How do they see women? What are they TAUGHT to believe about women?

Going to Israel late March. Arrive at Tel Aviv early Sat morning (3am!) Can anyone offer any travel tips on getting from the airport to the hotel as i've heard that there's no public transport at this time on Saturdays. Is this true?. If not, which is the safest/cheapest form of transport? We obviously don't want to upset the locals, are there any customs that we should be aware of? Any good bars/restaurants that we should look out for? Is it cheap/expensive? I've also heard that check in on the return flight can be a bit of a nightmare, can anybody elaborate/clarify that? We have an early flight on the Sunday (6am dept!), if the check in process is laborious what time should we arrive at the airport? Also any thoughts on transportation to the airport would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Alan

Israel expalined away there reason for wanting there own land so they could have a Jewish state of government,
So how is that arriving at what they call law?
For it is law that does govern states correct?
"The Law" given unto knowledge is that of the knowing,
and what they claim they have it not.
So what was the purpose of establishing Israel?
Law?,,Voting upon law ,,certainly is NOT knowledge of "The Law".
christians and jews can claim but under exaimination,
Truth will prevail.
Voting upon law is to guess or assume and certainly that is not knowledge.
They have not the law,,so how can it be set up under Israeli government,,see "The Law" is knowledge of it and voting proves they know it NOT.
Clearly they are not the choosen for "The Law" for if they were they would ceratinly be in knowledge of it,,and when it comes to knowledge,,it is in no need of a vote.
Like Truth is in no need of a vote.
Building upon guess and assumption ?
Knowledege is far better than ignorance.

Has anyone traveled as a tourist and by that I mean, without knowing or staying with a friend of family that lives in Israel, throughout Israel and Jordan. Or, if you do visit friends and family, then let me know what to expect. I want to travel this May/June.

I am trying to decide whether to go to Israel for a visit end of June for three weeks with my two young adult children. I am interested in biblical sites and would like to hear from those who have been and any suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks
