Absolutely!
Itgoinya - if I may reply to you - how can you claim to follow Christ and NOT know this?
Exodus 6;7 says 'I will take you as my people and I will be your God'.
Jesus himself addressed this issue. A woman asked for his healing who was not a Jew. Read it in the book of Matthew!
I find it astonishing the number of Christians who do not know this! It says it clearly in the Bible!
I can understand all the hateful answers from the Muslims, but it annoys me when Christians dont know this stuff and come out with AntiSemitic sentiment. They should know better. Its elementary stuff! Jesus was born a Jew. Deny that, and you are of the same opinion as Adolf Hitler.
Fortunately for us Gentiles, God is merciful and has grafted us into his kingdom. But the Jews were the first, the chosen ones.
Its in black and white in the Bible.

So who spewed this junk to you? ok permit's say you think in god. So god is think to be a loving "man or woman" appropriate? Why would god chosen a rustic that has such imperialistic/unfavorable regulations early in its theory? different international places declare they're god's chosen usa to boot. there has been many wars fought via fact of religious ideals. that would not coach a god i'd choose to comprehend. Wait carry on a 2nd you go with to comprehend what the bible says relating to the U.S? It would not say something in any respect. the united statesis approximately 232 years previous. all of us comprehend the bible is plenty older than that. First modification of the form announces that congress won't undertake a precise faith. So this excludes us from being god's chosen usa Now do no longer improve "In god we have faith" at a latter date. That wasn't made criminal until 1956. It certainly is a contravention of the 1st modification.

According to the Jewish belief, we are.

What does "chosen people" mean? Nothing practical, actually.
"Chosen people" stands for the belief that the Jewish people are the first people to follow the true and only god, and that there is some kind of a covenant between god and the Jewish nation. Something like "the teacher's favorite".
The bible (that is a Jewish book) declares that the Sons of Israel are the chosen people, and so every person who takes the bible as the words of god should believe so.

It is an interesting thing to mention that EVERY nation and religion over the globe sees itself as "special", "right", and maybe even "superior".

According to Jewish tradition the Jewish people are God's Chosen people. However, if you truly believe all people are God's people, and some choose to believe they are and some choose to believe they aren't.

I choose to believe that if there is indeed a "heaven"ly place that when I die I will not have to endure the likes of evil, hate filled satanic people's souls on the other side.

I also believe, that you can believe whatever you choose. The one thing God instilled in people that he didn't instill in animals is the right to choose. Free Will. It is how we use that Free Will on earth that is important.

have a great weekend
