I don't know if Hezbollah won,but Israel definitely lost...Their goal was to free the two soldiers and to destroy Hezbollah...Well,the soldiers are not free and Hezbollah is stronger then ever...So I wouldn't call that a victory...Destroying a country ,destroying its infrastructure,killing innocent people is not a victory...

Israel lost strategically. For the First time in Israeli wars missiles hit most of the northern cities and many people were forced to move out of their homes. The next major war in Israel is bad news.

Ask the CEO of ExxonMobil who the real "victor" of this and every other war in the Middle East is. You'll probably find him meandering about the Mediterranean on his 200-foot yacht.

do you see anything gained in murdering thousands of people and destroying hundreds of houses and bridges.

Both sides have lost. Force only brings more force and destruction creates more terrorism. The solution is in peace not war.
