Do Mizrahi Jews from the Arab countries think in Arabic rather than Hebrew? I have been told they have their own dialect of Hebrew which has been influenced by Arabic.

Since modern hebrew has very little in common with most other semitic langauges ( due to the influence of Yiddish), I would have thought that Arab Jews would prefer to speak their own language, i.e Arabic.

I as a Muslim am quite ashamed to see some people and leaders question the holocaust. It was sad and tragic event where least we could have done at that time was to help the suffering Jews by offering and sharing lands. Instead it led to shame of War and Mistrust. I have to admit that at times the Israeli policies seem a bit heavy handed but then i am not a big fan of the surrounding so called Muslim world that condones War and hate and ends up supporting Mindless Ego. I think humans that are trying with their heart and soul for peace to prevail in that region and are hearteous in forgivenss are the ones that make God Proud. Prophet Moses and Muhammed (May God's peace and Blessings be on them) brought the same message of Peace which is corrupted by our ego and selfishness. We definately need people the Prime Minister Rabin(May his soul rest in Peace) and Amr Khalid!

Israel allows in Russians and other peoples with most tenuous links to Judaism, even neo-nazi thugs!, to maintain its artificial non-Arab majority ( I don't think anyone can call it "Jewish" anymore). These non-Jews ( under the halakah) have a "right of return" after 1900 years.

Yet, Palestinians who either fled or were forced out of their homes ( read the memoirs of Yitzhack Rabin if you contest this) during the Jewish reign of terror, otherwise known as the Jewish war against the British ( blowing up of the King David Hotel, the Deir Yassin massacre etc) and the subsequent Arab-Israeli war, have no right to return to their communities and properties after only 60 years.

Israel has the space to let these people in and fulfill the most humanitarian aspect of peace between Israelis and Arabs, yet refuses to do so becuase of its inherent racist policy that goes along with a "state for Jews". NEVER in ancient Israel's history, were Jews a majority but shared the land with others.

They keep their nuclear weapon among weak countries and they attack the nieghbours who has any advantage in anything (water, Tourism, Oil or anything). I kept their beliefs and bloody history alone.

How is it over there? How do they treat American travelers? I'm a 20 year old college student looking to go somewhere cool, and Israel came up. I know Jerusalem is more kosher and strict and Tel Aviv is more laid back and crazy, but how are the people there, being a non-Jew would Jewish girls even talk to me, would they be interested in hooking up or would i be an outsider in clubs and such.

Has anybody else around here in the Egypt category noticed this? I'll give you a few things seemingly unrelated, and you tell me what they all have in common. It will be like fawazeer Ramadan!

1- Grey avatars
2- Names mostly consist of a first name and an initial like amanda k, evelyn j, michael h.
3- level 1, hardly any questions and answers (brand new profiles).
4- User does not allow IM or e-mail
5- Mostly the questions asked are very silly and sometimes even have no meaning at all.
6- The question almost always goes to voting.

Need I say more?! Now you tell me 7al ilfazoora eh ya 7ilween?!!

I have looked on so so so many websites for a job in Egypt! I found it so confusing to just find one! So i dont have a lot of qualifications, but i didnt think it would be that hard! Looking mainly for either Sharm or Dahab but as long as it isnt in Cairo or Luxor i dont mind, like Hurghada would be ok!

If anyone can help me id be really gratefull.
