How is it over there? How do they treat American travelers? I'm a 20 year old college student looking to go somewhere cool, and Israel came up. I know Jerusalem is more kosher and strict and Tel Aviv is more laid back and crazy, but how are the people there, being a non-Jew would Jewish girls even talk to me, would they be interested in hooking up or would i be an outsider in clubs and such.

Come on over - you'll have a great time! There are so many amazing places to visit here, as well as superb nightlife, and you can be certain that Israel will be very welcoming to you and your tourist dollars. As long as you are not hostile to us, we will be very friendly to you whatever your religion.

As an English-speaker you will be able to communicate with almost everyone, and most Israelis love Americans. You will not feel like an outsider at all - Israel is such a culturally-mixed place that everyone fits in easily.

The girls will definitely be interested in talking to you, but the religious ones usually avoid hooking up with non-Jews. But that still leaves you all the secular girls, and other tourists!

If you come to Tel Aviv, the 'Namal' is an area packed with big warehouse-sized nightclubs with no admission charge, and the bars along the beach are fantastic too (check out a post on this site a couple of days back about a place called 'La Mer' to see how some New Yorkers viewed it...)

Ignore what that idiot Jon says - Israeli girls are among the most beautiful in the world, and I have never seen one with a moustache, so Jon has clearly never actually been here.

P.S. If you are worried at all by the security situation, the danger level has actually been very low for the last couple of years. It's always hard to know what the future might bring round here, but right now is a good safe time to visit Israel.

Edit: Clubs are generally free, and food and drinks aren't too expensive. March is the end of the winter season, so it can still rain at times. Ideally delay it until April, because then you'll be sure of sunshine, and temperatures in the seventies. And don't worry about what Wrath of God said - they're just as likely to be intrigued as put off...

i'm israeli and have been to Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem many cases by way of now. a million. the persons are very heat and alluring. there are non secular themes, as there are such themes with the completed us of a - yet you does no longer experience it. Tel-Aviv is nearly an excellent party that is going on for twenty-four/7. there is often some thing occurring there, an excellent number of bars and golf equipment, and humanities. Jerusalem is thoroughly diverse than something you already know. 2. no person will care approximately you being a Korean. we had some Korean travelers these days (from Samsung) and that they have got been taken care of purely like all different targeted visitor.

You will be very welcome and nobody will treat you like an outsider. Quite apart from the fact that Israelis don't treat people that way anyway, how would anybody know you weren't Jewish?! In Israel you will see that there is no 'typical Jewish looks' but instead, incredible, exotic and gorgeous variety!

If you are looking for somewhere interesting, lively, intense, and unique, then Israel may well be for you! Added to which of course are the numerous sites of both historical and religious significance, not just to Judaism but also to Islam and Christianity.

Tel Aviv is a very 'buzzy' city and well worth a visit. But I'd strongly advise you to try and spend a bit of time in Jerusalem; you will never forget it.

I hope you have a great time!

First not everyone is jewish, christians and msulims. hindus and every sort of people live here, although most are jews.

Second we are in the 21st century people, if I told you what happens in clubs in Tel Aviv you won't believe me, it's like being in berlin, one of the craziest cities you name it they have it, done it, and moved on.

Third - any kind of girl will talk to you in Israel, they will even know english so it's no problem.

Hey Jay, Come on and see for yourself. Jerusalem is religiouly oriented BUT only in certain sections It is a swinging crazy city and if you are cool you will hook up We are inquisitive and most assuredly friendly and we have a saying here, "Baruch HaBa" which means blessing to those who come It does not mean Jews who come it means everyone as long as you are not a terrorist
