Like most of the other answerer's I have to say that your possibility of obtaining work in Egypt is zero to none and if you don't speak Arabic then its even lower.
Even if you did obtain work here then remember that you will only bring home around a quarter of what you earn doing the same job at home.
My advise is work hard at your current job and maybe even get another to boost your income, then you can save some money and come to Egypt and stay for as long as you can afford.
There a literally many thousands of well educated Egyptians with degrees looking for any sort of work that they can get.
So the option of obtaining a job waitressing or in a shop just doesn't exist.
Most of us who work in Egypt are working on work permits and I am pretty sure you can't apply for one after you have arrived.
Someone will correct me if that is misinformation.

I tried looking for summer work in Eygpt (thinking i could get a job on a dive boat, etc) and the response i got was that they prefer to employ locals.
I think your best best are the embassy's and international organisations or try emailing the western hostels directly with your cv attached.

Salam
Well you can start with the Lord
Then your closest friends and family
Then you can do some soul searching if that doesn't help.
A resume would work no? Truthful one helps, everyone!
