I swim every morning for my highschool. and every morning i start out with my goggles totally clear. once i start swimming tho, they fog up and i can't see very well out of them. is there any way i could put something on my goggles to make them de-fog, or am i going to just have to live with it?

Ok, so what's really wrong with Ian Thorpe? He is 24 years old, 5 times Olympic world medalist and ready to retire! Is the fact that he has been ill put doubt in his mind that he can't win? and if so, if he doesn't think he can win then he won't swim? Is that a little pretenious? I say get on with it and stop being a baby!

About last week I got a bad cold, with a runny&stuffy nose, sore throat, etc. And I missed school last week (I missed swim practice too). I'm on the road to recovery, so going back to school on Monday. (This week we only have school until Wednesday, because Thursday is Thanksgiving.) I don't want to miss swimming because then I'll be out of shape, and not know details about upcoming meets, and stuff like that; but I also don't want have a relapse, so I'm not exactly sure what I should do.

Here is the deal, me and my girlfriend were debating a topic that we need to put to rest. One of us believes that if you are submerged under water, and you are accompanied by another individual, that you can use your partner to breathe from for a short period of time. A short period of time meaning a minute or less...

Over the last year I have been trying to practice breathing to the left as well as the right. However I tend to get disorientated and my breathing goes to pot. I only decided to try this because I saw top swimmers do it. It feels very unnatural to me.

As i am a girl, when i am wearing my swimsuit, (1 Peice, tight fitting) it is a real pain to take it off to pee. (this has NOTHING to do with peeing IN pools!!) I admit i have just pee'd through it before. Am i gross or can any other girls admit to doing it? if so why did you do it?

Hey, I'm just getting started swimming. I know all the basics but have never been on a team. I am willing to put in a lot of time (at college) and effort, I want to get in shape. Does anyone with swim experience have any team workouts they can share? You might have to put kid gloves on the terminology. I don't want to just do a front crawl twice a day...
