the reason that they wear two swimsuits is to cause additional drag -- it is making it harder to swim and maintain the speed that they know that they can reach in actual competition.
Then, when competition occurs, they only wear the one swim suit.

When i swam in HS and college and club, the girls would always do this to- im not a girl but i can answer this from my perspective, as a guy your speedo starts to wear thin so most of the time you double up so um your goods don't show to the whole world during practice, espcially during those damn back stroke drills
I think girls do it for the same reason, the waters cold and the body reacts to water if ya know what i mean both for girls and guys
as for fasion what 1 peice suit is fashoin wearthy come on

neither. its called a drag suit. both guys and girls do it. they wear a regular tight fitting suit with a loose suit over it. this is either a old streched suit, or its specifically designed for it. you won't find it necessary if your thinking about it. but better swimmers use it for practice and warm-ups before meets because if you swim in a baggier suit you feel faster when you swim with out it on. it trains you so you feel like that second suit is normal and when you take it off for meets, you feel that much faster.

It could be for warmth or drag. When I've seen people wear two suits it's because the top one is really stretched out and it provides drag.

They are just wearing it so they can look better or something. In the winter the pools are usually heated. Don't take it personally

No, it dosn't. It is sometimes called a drag suit and it is usally it is loser and the other one is just there. Sometimes I but two suits on because the one or both are fadded and toghter, they are not. It really isn't is for style because it isn't very fashinable. Any question email me.

Its for neither. girls wear two suits when they swim for drag. I would know i am a girl. Some girls who are looking to make themselves work harder in the water also wear stockings or pantyhose to drag. its just to make you work harder becuase you are pulling more weight. guys wear dragshorts.

The huge-unfold previous annoying of “swim” is “swam”: “I swam to the island.” even though, whilst the word is preceded by using a assisting verb, it differences to “swum”: “I even have swum to the island on a daily basis.” Have is the assisting verb here, subsequently "swum" must be used. Swam and swum are the two previous annoying. Swim is modern-day annoying and destiny annoying.

Probably just for style, it stretches the top suit out, and becomes uncomfortable.

Probably much safer to swim in. That way you can swim with confidence knowing your top or bottoms won't be going anywhere. Also its more appropriate for a swim team, rather than a 2 piece.
