How long do they last? When should I get a new one?
Well I had a jammer and I didn't realize it, but apparantly it had become see-through and everyone else on my swim team had noticed it... and didn't tell me... um ya.

I would say a year or so. You shouldn't use one speedo over and over again. That way, they will last longer. Also, make sure you have at least two or three. I'm in competitive diving and it is not good when your speedo wears out or gets torn or ripped because when your diving off of ten meter, you want to make sure that it is securely fastened. LOL!! Oh, and by the way, speedos are not embarressing or queer, they kind-of show that you are a man because it took me about a year to get out of jammers! LOL again!! Most people just say that because of Greg Louganis. Come on people! That was one guy!

A speedo starts becoming see through after a year but it all depends on how often you use this swim suit. If you want you suit to last longer try rinsing it in warm water after every time you use it. It will clean out most of the chlorine and not start becoming see through. If your not sure if its see through just ask a friend and if it is just buy a new one!

Well i would say to keep a watch on your suits. Usually people can tell when their suits are becoming see-through. And it all depends on how often you swim and how much you swim as to when it becomes see-through. There's not a certain exact time as to how long jammers last...you just have to watch yourself.

Hmm... in case you proceed this %., you'll now not make trials. those circumstances are honestly not even Junior Olympic circumstances, they are better like 'A' circumstances. At this %., you'll now not develop into an Olympic swimmer. attempt to grab as a lot as those circumstances first:(those are Junior Olympic circumstances)   50 free: 26   one hundred free: fifty 5 Then, those a techniques Western circumstances:   50 free: 24 one hundred free: fifty 3

If you use your swimmers quite often they would last about a year. If they are the thin material like racing swimmers don't wear them to training and they will last longer and only wear them when you race so the chlorine doesn't eat them and always rinse them after you use them.

every so often look at your butt in a mirror to make sure or before you put it on stretch it out and put your hands under the spot where it would be worn. if you see your hand then its see through

If you wear it lots then i would say get another just so you can alternate suits. Ask a friend to tell you if your suit is bad!

it all depends on the brand and style of the suit, and how much and often you work out... i get kind of lucky and some of my suits last a half of a year

it depends on the material of the speedo. i forget the type of material, but it lasts about three years of daily use. im thinking nylon, but i may be wrong.
