I am a contact-wearer and avid swimmer (9 years of swim team)
I do wear my contacts in the pool. I try not to open my eyes as much because the chlorine does dry them out. Usually I wear goggles when I am swimming laps. The water doesn't get in my eyes. If you're going to a water park you're probably going to be in wave pools and slides and such. I'd say you're going to be safe wearing your contacts. Bring a spare pair, as well as your glasses just in case. You'll also probably want some re-wetting drops since the chlorine dries out your contacts.
Basically
*Don't open your eyes underwater a lot
*Don't rub your eyes (increases chance of knocking one out)
*Have spares and glasses just in case.
Mainly, don't worry about it and have fun. If one falls out don't try and put it back in though.. it'll be ruined.

I've been swimming with contacts for about 10 years now and have never had a problem. Just wear a good set of goggles and you will be fine. You can even get the dark tinted ones to cut down on the glare.

Absolutely not!
The germs in the water will contaminate the lens; any chemicals (such as chlorine) added to the water will get trapped behind your lens and irritate your eyes.
Some people advise wearing daily disposables to a pool, but I do not recommend even that.
ALSO, the lens are much more prone to coming out of your eyes if you are submerged.

Yes, you can wear them. However, there is a possibility that they will "drift out" while you are swimming [if you open your eyes under water]. To be on the safe side, wear a pair of goggles, and have fun!

I wear my contacts while diving all the time. You just have to make sure you clean them really well after! It shouldn't be a problem. BUT, i would call my eye doctor if you have any major concerns.
Have fun,

since you just got them your power is probably not very high so its better to take them off before
or you could wear googles or close your eyes underwater but you don't wanna look wierd in a water park. its harder and not fun to close your eyes
