Swimming & Diving

I am finally getting a pool next month when I rent a house with my fiancee (and my 3 year old daughter). I have always swam nude when I had the chance and me and my finacee will swim that way.
It just feels so free to swim naked in the warm water. Well how do the rest of you prefer to swim. Nude or clothed.

I decided to join the early moring swimming club at my new school with my friend. I got teased at my old school for being chunky but hoped it would change here. My friend turned up late so I waited for her. We went through to the pool and went to the teacher(who's the P.E. teacher at our school) everyone else was SKINNY (including the teacher) and she immediately put my skinny friend who is better than me at EVERYTHING except for swimming in the fast lane and me in the medium. I'd been before and know that I belong in the fast lane and overtake people in there. So I decided to show her that even though I'm bad at most sports I CAN SWIM! So I swam lengths, overtaking as I went 'cos that's what your meant to do. After the 8th length, she tapped me on the head asking what I was playing at. I had missed the instructions waiting for my friend- we were meant to wait after every length for 30 seconds. I can swim 192 length without stopping!

Recently my speedo futura ice started to leak in the right eye, so I bought a new pair, which also leak in the same eye... very weird...

I have now tried several different makes and types which all leak in the right eye, despite trying every single configuration possible!

I am starting to feel like there is something wrong with my face! Its getting so annoying because I really enjoy swimming and its ruining it for me....

any ideas aside from poking out my right eye??

I have swimming once a week and it is complete torture. 18 laps for warm up? I can't do it. But i good grade too. We have to bring our swim stuff to school with us and if you forget it, you get a bad grade. If you "miss" the bus on purpose, the head principal comes hunting for you. Help! I need excuses!

I dont believe my goggles are too tight. I rely on the suction of the goggles more than strap. But I always have those rings around my eyes after a swim. Is there any way to avoid those? Or will I always have them after my laps?

Recently I had shoulder surgery. I had a torn rotator cuff and a loose tendon. I am only sixteen so the likes of me healing and getting back in the pool. However, I have talked to people who were swimmers my age that got shoulder surgery and they never got back in the pool again. Were you a swimmer who had shoulder surgery? did you ever swim again?

I have a womans size 14, O'neil Neoprene dry suit for scuba diving. Barely used - less than 10 dives, reinforced seals, excellent cond. It belonged to an old friend who wanted me to sell it on e-bay for her. This was about 2-3 years ago & at the time her asking price was $650 - lowest price - $500. (I never got around to posting it for her) I'd like to hurry up & get rid of it, but I've got no idea how much it is worth?!?! $500-$600 sounds ridiculous to me. I've browsed on e-bay & craigs list & no wet/dry suits bring nearly that much - even brand new! Would someone with some scuba knowledge please help me determine how much it is really worth? THANX

This will be my first fastskin 2. I have never worn a fastskin before I was just wondering if someone can hep me on picking out the right size. I wear a speedo endurance suit. It's a size 28. My waist size is 32 inches what size fastskin 2 jammer should I buy. I was thinking a 30 anyone else have suggestions? wat is the best way to train as a swimmer to gain speed and endurance?? I would prefer not to run and i do swim about 4 times a week during swim season and maybe 1 time a week during the non swimming season. I swim not hard for the whole summer.
