I'm looking for a home and it seems most in the neighborhood I am looking have inground pools. I am wondering how much my electricity bill would increase with a home with a pool versus one without.

Our 12 Swimming facilities are putting together a Lifeguard Swimsuit Calander for 2008 to raise mony for the many swim teams in our area. The commitee chose the Men for the year 2008. I was asked to be in the Calander, even my g/f wants me too. BUT, wearing a tiny bikini when swimming in competition or practices or while lifeguarding is O.K. but this calander being sold all over, should I just say no, or just do it for the Swim Teams. Help?

I only swim with my head above the water, and I totally panic if I get underwater. I am afraid that water would get inside my ears, and I'll never get them out and I'll be deaf. I know it sounds silly but there has been an incident like that when I was a kid and I was not able to hear properly for a day. It's a burden, because I want to learn how to surf and all those fun water sports. Does anyone have similar problems?

I was just wondering . . we're tapering for FOUR WEEKS for our biggest meet. The practices are extremely easy and short and I was wondering if too much taper could actually be a bad thing.

I'm taking a scuba diving certification course and need to buy myself a mask, fins, and snorkel before the course begins. I see the split-fins are popular, but expensive. Can anyone make a good recommendation?

I need to know where to get the BEST POSSIBLE prices cuz I got my certification recently (I'm 16) and want to carry on diving for studies and leisure. I could buy it in pieces, but want to know where to get the BEST deal. After all, I'm only 16 and can only afford so much at certain times. I know I have enought for all of it put 2gether, but just want to find out where to get it at good quality for as low price as possible. But it has to be good quality. :) Thanks

Seriously, I don't like speedos, so I don't wear them. But why would I care if other people wear them? If I had an issue with looking at people wearing speedos, I would stay away from the swimming pool, that's for sure!

Isn't the most important thing that anybody is comfortable with his own style, and his own choice of swimwear?

Be it speedos, trunks, boardshorts, 3/4, shirts, bikinis, one-piece, anything. It's a personal choice. Isn't it?
