I'm looking for a home and it seems most in the neighborhood I am looking have inground pools. I am wondering how much my electricity bill would increase with a home with a pool versus one without.

My brother's electric bill increased by $30.00 per month during the summer. But his pool was mostly in the shade.
Probably the best way to find out is to contact a pool installer, get an estimate and check that against the estimate you get from your electrical provider.

Your power bill may be the least of your concerns, since your insurance will be higher, and the risk to your and friends' children will be greater. Of course, your bill will depend on how warm you keep the water, the climate where you live, and the size of the pool. Solar water heaters are a great solution in the long run; and keeping a cover over it when not in use will really cut your bill.

Florida Power & Light has an online cost calculator for pool pumps and heaters:

If you don't live in Florida, you will have to adjust the electric cost based on your own kWh rate which can be found on your electric bill.

For result you get for heating cost, consider that the minimum, and just make your best guess at your actual costs depending on where you live.
