I was thinking about getting a break-barrel air rifle.But I'm having trouble on deciding what caliber I should get between the .177 at 1000fps, or a .22 at 800fps.I was thinking about getting the .177. But I'm not sure.Also,I'm mostly going to be hunting birds, maybe some squirrels there and then when they get in front of my house. Thanks

We drove to memphis to get this scope, spent around 600 dollars for it. Got it home tonight and he looked through it and there appears to be something inside the lens. Just a threadlike black squiggly line in the upper left quadrant. This couldn't be a crack!! And how could something have gotten inside the scope? We don't understand. What should we do, and can this be fixed?

Well being that I'm only 14 I can't own a gun but the 2 historical guns my Dad has is a newly bought M1 Garand that I have yet to shoot and a 1939 German Luger that was always in my family (my dads dad bought it after the 2nd world war in America). So what old historical guns do you have?

I just bought a Calico Paddle Holster for my Kimber Eclipse Pro II and I'm having a problem keeping the holster up against my body. It tends to want to lean out on the top, making a much bigger bulge in the side of my shirt than I really want. So, my question is, what can I do to keep the holster and gun tighter up against my body instead of leaning out?

Okay, now that I've gotten your attention, let me explain. I don't really plan to "hunt" with my Glock.

I am going boar hunting for the first time in a couple months. I am using my .30-30 rifle. I want to carry a backup handgun just in case it is needed in an emergency. I can't afford to buy a .357 magnum or other higher powered revolver before I go. I plan to add one to my collection, but can't do it in the next couple months.

I have two options

1) Carry no back up gun

2) Carry my Glock 23. I can use the .40 caliber or switch out barrel and use a .357 Sig.

I am going to check local laws, but I believe I can carry any handgun as my back-up since I am primarily hunting with a rifle.

What do you recommend? Again, I would not "hunt" with a semi-auto caliber pistol, but want to carry it as a backup since I don't have a revolver.

I was just wondering if any of the known laser sight manufacturers such as Crimson Trace or Lasermax or any others I might not know of makes any kind of laser sight for both of these pistols. Also, what would be a good scope for a Ruger mini-14?? Thanks

I won't sell it as it's from my Grandpa.
He gave it the name "Old Cougar" 40 years ago.
And it is said he shot over 50 deer with it over the years.
I just don't know much about 7x57 MM Mausers.

I have a lot of experience with rifles and shotguns...and I mean a lot. But very little experience with handguns. I qualified for the state concealed weapons permit using my instructors Glock .40 which I really liked. Any thoughts about what I should buy? I do like the feel of the Glock. Is there anything better?
