I'm trying to shop for hunting cammo for my teenaged boys. There are so many sites and a lot of them are confusing. I just need some cammo jeans/pants, and some long sleeve shirts, and maybe some jackets. Can anyone help me?

I have my first O/U shotgun and was wondering if there is a reason most of the guys I observe at trap league seem to use the bottom barrel as their primary barrel. Is there a reason why? My first instinct is to choke the gun to use the top barrel first and the bottom second for skeet or clay doubles. What about side by sides with screw in chokes? Like I said, this is my first double gun after a lifetime of auto's. I guess I'm alittle ashamed to ask anyone I know. Thanks!

I have a old JC Higgins 12ga pump that was my fathers, I shoot only low base shells in it due to its age. The shotgun will not freely eject the rounds after each shot it is like the slide is jammed, but it is actually the rounds are getting stuck in the chamber. I generally have to use a rod and push the shell out of the chamber but the brass base looks as if it has expanded. The chamber does not appear to be damaged or out of shape but it is hard to tell with eyes only. The gun is priceless to me for sentimental reasons I would just like to know what this could be or if it is common and if there is a fix.

The bolt wont stay back on the last shot, the shotgun is alot like a model 1100, if that helps. I dont know whats up? I took it apart to see, but nothing looks missing or broken. The gun shoots fine, all three shots as fast as you can pull the trigger, but the bolt wont stay open on the last shot, you have to load it through the magizine tube and then pull the charging handle back to load it. Like I said it looks like it has the same guts as an 1100 but dont quote me on it. Any info would be appriciated. thanks

I am completely prepared for all the anti-gun bashing I about to receive but I am looking to purchase a Springfield Armory XD 45 ACP and want to know how effective really is a grip safety in comparison to a trigger safety, and decocking safety. Please experienced handgunners answer only. This is mainly for home and business protection

I've been looking for a Nagant Mosin rifle because I like the size, how the stock is shaped (it's pretty slender compare to others), and it's in my price range plus it have a lot of history. I have very little luck finding them on ebay and other place. So I decide to try gather all parts and put together a Nagant Mosin rifle. However I doesn't have any experience with putting firearm together. So I would like to know opinion of others. Should I try it or am I better off keep looking? I have about 2 to 4 months to look for one.

I live in Oregon and they outlawed the use of hounds to hunt bear and mountain lion but we can still hunt coon and bobcat. Now we are overrun with mountain lions and bears so the government pays people to kill problem lions and bears. The "agents" of the state use dogs. If you are against hunting with hounds explain why? Are you against all hunting? Do you eat meat?
