CTG is just short for cartrige. The gun should take standard 9mm rounds.

"CTG" is short hand for "cartridge"
Remember there many different 9mm rounds. The "NORMAL9mm" is called a 9mm Parabellum, Luger or lately the, 9mm NATO. A development of the original .30 Luger.

I think that sounds like cartridge, meaning it's just an extra detail placed in whatever you saw.
