I have a Henry 22 also, I didn't go with a cantilever scope mount, I used a set of simmons 1" tube small rail scope rings, designed for 3/8" dove tails. I have a Bushnell 4-12x40 scope on it, i had to take the rear sight elevator off in order for the scope to sit flat in the rings. I've seen the cantilever mounts and really didn't care for them, even tho it's a .22 and the cantilever won't take much of a recoil beating, I still think the standard dovetail rings are much sturdier. This is just my opinion, the cantilever may very well be a great mount, I just would rather use standard ring mounts. You can also have the top of the receiver drilled and tapped for a picatinny rail which would leave your scope/optic choices wide open!

For accuracy try one of the Kimber bolt action .22's , Remington M504 or a Browning A-bolt..

One of my all time favorite rifles is the Weatherby XXII(15rd tube) this is one great all around .22

If you would like to take a look at some .22 rifles, use the search..
