A good, inexpensive scope is a Weaver. A Weaver K4 or K6 can be found on e-bay (see link below).
A good, inexpensive scope is always better than a cheap scope!

I got a nice Bushnell off EBay for about $100 - skipped the really cheap and went with Bushnell on recommendation of someone here for value.

Ebay has numerous scopes at very reasonable prices. Walmart is also a good option as they also have Leupold and Nikon cheaper than almost anywhere else.

your local wal-mart, you think about it, the technogy we have today in cheap simmons and bushnells were top of the line about 5 or 10 years ago, right. save your money on the 400.00 of 500.00 scopes. besides they all have lifetime warranties on them now.
