I have no idea how to do a cartwheel, my friend has been teaching me and she says I'm getting better. I know how to do it and all but my legs are never straight.

She keeps convincing me that personality is mostly what they're looking for but I don't believe her. I'm still determined to get a cartwheel before try-outs.

Do you think I would still have a good chance of making the team even without knowing a cartwheel?

I'm looking to base myself in Peru for 3 months and would like to join a fencing club, though I would consider joining in Argentina, Ecuador, Brazil or Bolivia too! I'm at intermediate level.

I love this sport! It is very high scoring (there are many ways to score too), full of meaningful stats, and involves lots of strategies. It has everything Americans love in a sport, and enough stoppages that would keep our TV broadcasters happy. I wish the ICC would take a chance with this market.

For those who want to learn about cricket (in plain baseball terms), go to http://usa.cricinfo.com/link_to_database/NATIONAL/ICC_MEMBERS/USA/CKTBASX1.html

I know if I was a male athlete I would be angry if I had to get naked and change in front of clothed women that I dont want to. I would also feel humilated and degraded. Also a next issue is that male reporters are not being granted the right to go in women athletes locker rooms. So if equality is such a big issue why arent male reporters allowed in female athletes locker rooms or why arent female reporters banned from male athletes locker rooms?

Football is #1
Basketball #2
(I know the positioning of these two is debatable, but they are the top two.)
