I need help with my shot put.....i know strength isnt the issue.....i bench 220, squat 345 and deadlift 365 but i have a problem with my shot distance. It seems like the max i can hit is around 31 or 32. I hate it because i havent been able to get any better from the previous year. Any advice would help

It could depend on many things. First of all, strength isn't all you need, you have to combine it with speed. If you are using the glide, then make sure you there is no pause between your glide and release. Also, make sure when you land the glide, your feet are at the 9:00 position. This creates the torque necessary to use all your momentum. The last thing is your release, you may not be putting the shot high enough. Aim for a higher release, as if you were putting it over a goal post. Hope this helps.
