I have to run the mile for school (I'm in 8th grade), and I currently have a 5:43 and want to run even faster, currently for training, I run 3 miles at 7:15 a mile, and 8 200 yard sprints. Does anyone have any tips?

Like for instance, if they had 24 hour sports back when Babe Ruth played, with all of his off field antics, would the nation hate him like they do Bonds or TO? He was arrested several times, beat up umpires, was a alcoholic, but yet an american hero. Which i think he is, but with the spin of ESPN and the like, they have to talk about something all day, and that something at times ends up being character attacks and slander and overuse of opinions instead of just reporting the news. Do you think its gotten out of control?
