I'm going to be a sophomore in highschool now. Freshman year, I ran a 54.8. I'm planning on running atleast a 52 this upcoming year.
Also, how do you guys run a 400m? I first tried doing a tactical approach to it by running out hard the first 200m, slowing down the last curve, and kicking the last straightaway. But I only got a 58 doing that. Now I just run it as hard as I can the whole way.

I'm a cross country runner in the fall and a sprinter and jumper in the springtime. I'm running at a varsity level in both fields of running. I've been mixing up my training so I can excel at both. I've been told that doing this can really throw you off. I already know a lot about running and I have a general idea of why this is so, but I'd like a professional opinion. Even though I've been told this is bad for you, I've also been told by other people that this is actually very beneficial. I know there are decathletes that do this.

Who would win? Please say if your fight is a straight-up, down-and-dirty street fight or if one or both of them have some sort of weapon. It's your call.

I don't want to brag but, I have just found out that I can hit a far away target 19 times out of 20! I'm not sure exactly what the team is called but the gun they use is almost like a pellet gun.
So I was just wondering if anyone knew how you could join.

Personally, I enjoy watching both forms of gymnastics when the Summer Olympics are on. Artistic involves tumbling and other tricks, whereas rhythmic has emphasis on use of apparatus, grace, and elegance. They are so unique and different! That is what makes them extremely interesting.
