I'd go with beach volleyball, because I see it as a complete bastardization of a great sport.
Volleyball is a great sport involving teamwork, timing, and serious skill. Beach volleyball does involve some teamwork and skill, but not nearly to the same degree. It's also played on a surface that provides no leverage for jumping, so the players don't get as high for spikes or blocks as they do on a hardcourt surface. There's also too much open court space, and many points are won with what I would consider weak hits.
Finally, there's the matter of the outfits. I have no problem with women in bikinis, but I don't need to see that when I'm watching what is supposed to be the world's greatest athletic competition.

The events that i think should be removed are table tennis and sycronized swimming. The whole point of the the olympics was to be training for soldiers. Seriously, do you actually think that pink pong and organized swimming are something that soldiers would do for training? I didn't think so. Also, in response to the equestrian answer, that sport takes balance, cordination and strength. If you really think that it is all the horse, why don't you go out there and show what you've got?

Beach Volleyball. That should not be an Olympic sport! One of the girls who won last time had only been playing for 3 years, natural talent my a$$. They don't deserve to be compared to athletes like the long the distance runners and swimmers.

Horse Jumping - Goes on for too damn long, and its more of a hobby than a sport/game.
Keep table tennis! That game is knackering if played even half well, cos that ball just keeps coming back. And since when have the MODERN olympic games been used for army training?

Absolutely none. There are no'sports' left in the Summer Olympics, just true sports with a noble tradition. I have my grievances with the Winter ones, though, where they have some rich-spoilt-kid-extreme(ly stupid) sports like snowboarding and others recently taken aboard.

I think people should stop saying that sports arent sports yes some are different and don't seem athletic to you but they are and just because you dont like it doesnt mean it's not a sport so I dont think any sprt should be removed

Why remove any sports? What's it to you if the table tennis players or the equestrians get to compete in the Olympics? If you don't want to watch them, don't watch. No one is forcing you to stay glued to your TV.

Equestrian--yes, there is human skill involved, but the real athletes are the horses. It seems very out of place.
