to add to Cristian Mocanu.

Yes Greece is in Europe, and China will not have the Olympics until 2008 Beijing, which is the next Summer Games.

The 1940 Olympic Games were originally scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Japan, but several countries planned to boycott the Games there because Japan was waging an aggressive war in Asia and then Japan itself decided the Games would be a distraction to their military goals. The Games were then rescheduled to be held in Helsinki, Finland, Europe, but the start of World War II in 1939 caused the Games to be cancelled.

The Answer is: 1964 Tokyo Japan, Summer Olympics.

Others were: 1972 Sapporo Japan, Winter Olympics
1988 Seoul South Korea, Summer Olympics
1998 Nagano Japan, Winter Olympics
2008 Beijing China, Summer Olympics

Seems that every 10 years the Olympics are in Asia alternating from Summer to Winter, which brings us to a startling fact, for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games Pyeong Chang Korea, is bidding for the games. I wouldn't be surprised if they win just baised on the System.
