Personally, I enjoy watching both forms of gymnastics when the Summer Olympics are on. Artistic involves tumbling and other tricks, whereas rhythmic has emphasis on use of apparatus, grace, and elegance. They are so unique and different! That is what makes them extremely interesting.

Rhythmic is so much prettier to watch than artistic! Yes artistic can be exciting but rhythmic is amazing to watch and to see such flexibility. Both are hard and I like to watch both. It would be amazing to do rhythmic.

Artistic because I did artistic gymnastics for several years and it's just amazing how difficult it really is. Rhythmic is difficult too, but not as interesting to watch.

i love artistic gymnastics more. i guess im probably saying that because ive been one for the past 9 years. in rhythmic gymnastics they bend so much that its kinda gross...artistic is more about strength and power, which i find more exciting.

Artistic - rhythmic gets boring after a while, although I understand how difficult it is to do.

Artistic, if that's another name for the "regular" gymnastics, is far superior. In my opinion, rhythmic gymnastics isn't a sport, it's doesn't deserve to be in the Olympics. Either does sychronized swimming.
