...the current mixed martial arts tournaments and their structure. being honest do you think that he could still take them considering the current emphasis on power, strength, ground and pound and of course takedowns and submissions?? i certainly know he would be intrested in MMA today as opposed to traditional asian martial artists and gung fu experts because he loved the live realistic fight.

I have been taking mixed martial arts for about a month and was thinking about competing in the future, when I feel I'm ready. Can anyone tell me their experience in their first competition, what happened, and what should I expect? I'm an avid follower of UFC and Pride fighting.

say i learn one of this martial arts and i join a mma fight tournament. and to avoid takedown ect.. i also have a bit wrestling ability...do u think i can do well in mma?

Hi well 3 of my children and 1 of my granddaughter's go to G-K-R,KARATE INTERNATIONL.Their are 30 in the class,so their looking for a name for their group,the children are from 5 to 12 year's old so they need a nice name,as they are all going to GKR KARATE KIDS CLASS SEMINAR & COMPETITION.At Bradford in the next 2 weeks.so please can you help out with a nice name for these children,thak you.

Im looking for the training area where the Diaz Brothers train for UFC. All I know is that it must be in some Gym in Concord California. I would like to see them train. Does anyone have any information I could use?

I stupidly was caught having sex with a work associate, by her husband. I'm 5'1 he's 5'9 and very fat. I got a kicking and many would say i deserve it. Now 6 months later the threats and the intimidation from him is still appearing. I am really reluctant to goto the police. Could someone advise me what is the best Martial Art I could learn to learn self defense with regards this situation.
