I recently went to the races in Hong Kong and bet on 3 horses to win each time and lost all my money. I always backed the favourite and the next 2 liked horse from the HKJC guide. Aslo I saw that the top jockey won more than others and also some trainers were better than others. What is the best way in your opinion to pick horses? Thanks

The screenplay will center around factors involved in horseracing.
I have vast knowledge about the horse racing industry, i.e. drugs, equipment, weight, jockeys, trainers, racing conditions.
This will not be some "feel-good" type screenplay, it will deal with the seedy, shady side of the sport.
The screenplay will include some tremendous music.
Anybody gonna come when it opens?

Most people say Man O’War #1, Secretariat #2, and Citation #3
Or
Secretariat #1, Man O’War #2, and Citation #3

After that it becomes subjective and blurred so who is your #4…and your #1 #2, and #3?

Is #4…Dr Fager, The Bid, Kelso, Slew, Count Fleet, or Native Dancer…or other?

there are 3 plants (slaughter houses) in the U.S. that slaughter horses to send to their meat to europe where it is concidered a delicacy. These are horses that were trusted family pets, show horses, buggy horses, work horses and your childs pony. All they did wrong was that they were sold at an auction and it was a KILL BUYER that purchased them, not a show person, not the Amish and not another little boy or girl who thought Snowball was adorable. Just someone who saw $$$ per pound. Please do not believe theses are unwanted horses. Do you like to see horses running wild thru the desert...manes flowing in the breeze? See a couple stallions fighting over a herd of mares? Better look now, because Sheldon wildlife refuge is sending 12-1500 horses to slaughter as this post is being written. Some of those horses are wild mustangs from BLM land. Where will this stop? Ask your Congressman...please

I have bought an extremely quiet and gentle natured thoroughbred who is great to do everything with except slow down/stop. She also tends to put her head up as soon as you put pressure on to slow down (on the lead and ridden). I was wondering how I could encourage her to relax and bring her head down instead of tensing up and fighting me. I am riding in english gear (a jointed snaffle with a hanovarian noseband). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone heard of Wild Horse Valley Ranch in Napa Valley California? It is owned by the Murray family, Mary, Edna, or Don Murray.
