He's beyond the normal infection stage. :-)
I also saw a report that indicated a possiblity that Brother Derek's front foot and Barbaro's hind foot made contact which could be a reason.
Would sure serve notice to have Brother Derek checked out just in case IMO

a daily report is given on Tim Whooley horse trainers site. Its very good, and they are still updating on a weekly basis on the Penn Vet site...just google Barbaro and you will find both sites.

It is doing "way better" than expected, He is amazing the doctors, owner, and the jockey. The jockey has ben visiting it.
