I felt so sad when Oliver Kahn made that mistake, and Ronaldo's first goal went in. Then when Germany lost 0-2, I was dejected. I went to my room and cried that day. But a week later, I was over the loss, because Brazil deserved to win that year. So please share your memories of that day...

I remember that day like it was yesterday. It was three days before my eleventh birthday, and I wanted France to win so much, I was really excited about that match. I remember Zidane's two headers, I was ecstatic when he scored! And then Emmanuel Petit finishing it off with his goal late in the match...3-0! What a wonderful day! Those are my wonderful memories. Please share your memories...

I was only seven years old at that time. That was the first World Cup I remember. When Germany won in 1990, I was barely three years old, so I have no memory of that. 1994, however, I remember that penalty shootout, and Baggio's going way over...I wasn't rooting for either team, but I was a child, and I actually felt sorry for Italy that day. So where were you...please share your memories...

I think you can. Otherwise this would not be a World Cup Forum. If you want to talk about your respective countries, then please go to that individual section. I love people who support my team even though they come from different countries.

I support Italy and was disgusted to see all the dumbest and stupidest accusations Tozurs has brought against Italy. Most of his questions are related to Italy and how they cheat and dive which are all baseless. Juventina has posted a question about Tozours and has accused that individual to be a terrorist on that question. Here is the link to it :. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApyiLx3OpH0HKoXS.CxCTUPsy6IX?qid=20060829062545AALPt4b
My question is : if she thinks Tozours is so awesome and nice, someone whom she really respects and likes, why does she have to put this question out at first place ? And now she is blaming others to be racist. No one is racist here. France is a good team but Tozurs questions are all stupids. I am pissed off at Tozour for his nonsense postings. I personally feel Juventina and Tozours have been playing with the minds of other people. This is a Football Forum. Not a Soap Opera. And Juventina : You are very smart. Instead of taking responsibility for what you did, you are blaming others to be racist. We all love people from different nationalities but that does not mean I will support every retarded person who desn’t know what they are saying . I also feel she has made fun of Italy and its supporters by admiring someone who has been posting questions after questions about how Italy cheated to win the World Cup.

Have a look at his questions and answers and tell me if you think he's Italian or an Italian supporter?

The reason why Korea won was that the Mexican goalie Oswaldo Sanchez made a mistake (he rolled the ball, thinking it was offside). Korea striker Lee scored (he didn't miss the golden opportunity to score). It looked like Sanchez was confused and didn't know what was going on. He complained to the referee. This friendly game took place in Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. That was the funniest soccer game, because one person made a bet that Mexico will win, but after the game was over, he didn't say anything. Later, he said, "HE MADE A MISTAKE!" I'm telling you, this was the funniest soccer game ever. Don't you think? Didn't you see the game?

In a written form to his club and before his retirement was ever known by Real Madrid, Zidane concluded that he didn't want a single euro for the work that he could perform with the children starting at the end of the year. ( He retired one year earlier than was stipulated in his contract)
