Absolutely. My #1 team is Portugal, but I also love Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Iran, etc.!

Of course you can. I supported Italy because I'm Italian, but if they had been eliminated early in the tournament, I'd have rooted for Argentina, England, Ghana and Germany. And I supported France against Brazil. I used to admire Zidane a lot before the headbutt, plus if Brazil had won the WC again it would have been boring.

Of course I support my country first even though Australia is no heavy weight in the football arena, I love them regardless. But I have a lot of admiration for many other teams who participate in the WC also. Countries that have players I admire/respect and countries that just offer good competitive football. Besides who would we barrack for when our teams get eliminated if we were only to enjoy our own.

I will always be for U.S.A. but as they have been eliminated, I support the team that bested them. Then I go by many factors like the nationalities that our family is made of, or when I used to gamble it would be on my money team. But usually it is for sport that I support a team. If Germany bested Italy, I would have supported them.

Yes you can especially if your team never makes any of the big tourny's like the WC...beeing scottish i always have to root for someone lese, Trinadad and Tobago was my team, only cause jason SCOTLAND was playing for them, as close as a SCOTSMAN got to the world cup pitch!!!

yea, you can definitely do that. some people might put you down about it and tell you off and stuff, but that shouldn't be your problem. people should be allowed to support whatever they want to support. it's our own decision, not anyone elses. I'm an american citizen and I support the usa and england. and i don't see anything wrong with that whatsoever.
