Well, I met a LOT of Juventus and Torino players ;-)))
I was living in Turin town center since I was born. I remember when I was 5, walking with my father, he said 'look! that guy is Roberto Bettega!'...
I met quite ALL Juventus player (their old center was in 'Galleria San Federico', close to the main street, Via Roma).
Gentile. Cabrini. Zoff. President Boniperti... can't remember all them...
Torino and Italy player Renato Zaccarelli's wife had a shop near Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, near my old school, and I met many Torino players too.
This happens since 1970.
In late '80s my bunch of friens was meeting in Via Saluzzo, 100 meters far from the usual restaurants by Juventus and Torino players ('Urbani', Via Saluzzo, and 'I due mondi - da Ilio', Via San Pio V). Quite every Sunday evening it was common to spot the restaurants (especially 'Urbani', because they had unveiled windows) filled by players, coach (I saw many times Dino Zoff), managers having dinner together. At same time I was working in a shop - always in town center - and I was seeing quite every day Ciro Ferrara (with kids), Pietro Vierchowod, Lombardo walking on the street.
Later, Del Piero girlfriend - now his wife, Sonia - was working in a shop placed 200 meters from mine...
So I can say I met quite all 1970 - 1995 players. After, I moved from town center and now this never happened again.

Well I've seen a Juventus/Vicenza game back in 1998. Zidane was on the team then. I did meet the cycling champion for "Il Giro d"Italia" in 1993. I remember he was very cute.
My cousin in Italy married someone who knows many people in high places and I'm sure I could meet a player next time I go to Italy, however, I'm not really that kind of person. If it happens, great. If not, that's okay too. I wont go out of my way. They are not God. Just good players who have lives and probably want to be left alone.

No I haven't, but my father has connections with people in high places in Italy. I could very easily get something worked out with my dad and his people so that I could meet my dream team! .*sigh* Buffon;) People in Italy who are in high places hear my fathers name and know who he is. Just from the great work he has done for such a beautiful country

My dad saw Michel Platini in person in Paris, I was too young at that time... and I was at home :(
My lucky dad, he was a massive fan of him, and he got the chance to see him, and when he told me and i asked him to show me his autograph my dad said "Honey, I dont have it, I'm sorry..." then I went crazy and I locked myself in my bedroom because I was nearly about to strangle my dad!!!
My only wish right now is to meet Zidane. I dont think its really likely, but it would be the greatest moment of my life!

I met Marco Materazzi, he's such a sweetheart he gave me his shirt and kissed me :)
Inter vs Roma.. after the game I met him.
He was signing autographs for two kids then I started a conversation with him!

I have seen Gianluigi Buffon and his girlfriend Alena Seredova in a beach in Naples. He was so cool; didnt have the courage to approach him. I didnt like seredova though(maybe im just jealous)

Yes, I met RONNEY last night in ma dream, it was awesome.
He asked me to pay regards to you and was saying that he will see you soon,
so from today when ever u sleep keep pen and copy with u to take the autograph.
