Football (American) - December 2007

Colts are still a great team, even with injuries they have had. Pittsburgh showed they cannot compete with NE. I beleive Indy can knock them off in AFC championship if they meet. Also what about JAX going against NE can they have a shot at beating them i want to see thuis team go down.

Hard to argue with the Giants. They have looked like crap these last few weeks yet because they play lesser opponents they win. They're 9-4 but they've played such "Super Bowl contenders" like Atlanta, San Francisco, Miami, Philadelphia, Chicago, my Jets, Detroit, and Washington. Yeah, not exactly the New England Patriots.

By the way, I met a Giants fan who told me (a Jets fan) "The Patriots are OVER-RATED!" and I said "Well, I think the Giants are overrated." and he said "NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT! ARE YOU KIDDING?!"

Being honest even though Michael Vick has lied to everyone. I think he deserves another chance with the Falcons I will tell yall y the Falcons were some nobody until Vick got there. He took the Falcons to the playoffs 2-times and he took them to the NFC Championship game. Its pretty obvious the reason the Falcons are losing is because they don't have Vick. Everyone makes mistakes and he made a mistake he payin the price for it right now. Michael Vick is a great player and a better person than people think. I guarantee u if Michael Vick comes back to the Falcons they will make the playoffs.

Im from new england, my whole family is a patriots fan except me and my brother. My brother is a dolphins fan and I am a colts fan. I think that miami will be the first to beat the pats, I don't know why but I just think it would be great for an 0-13 team to beat a 13-0 team (if miami loses this week and new england wins). I dont have anything against the pats but I just wanted to pose this question out there so it could be a question. Most people would dismiss miami winning right away, so anybody (pats fans, dolphins fans, football fans) do the dolphins hae a chance???

Wouldn't it be better if the NFL had an overtime just like college football. I think its more exciting because both teams get a chance, and it can't be one on a cheesy 30 yard field goal.

This week I played pro picks nfl pools. I am going to get 14/15 selections right. THIS IS NOT AN OFFICE POOl.

Potential winnings are hundreds of thousands of dollars. I understand there were a lot of favourites this week and people do have the option to box up to 4 games, but what do you guys think are my chances of winning. I would most likely split pot which is fine, but do you think anyone got all 15?

The Miami Dolphins with a record 0-13 do have a chance to beat the undefeated New England Patriots. I think it would be ironic if the only win the Dolphins had was against the Patriots and that was the Patriots only loss.

I predict the Dolphins to win because they have some talent.

This guy is a jerk. First of all, last year this guy tested POSITIVE for steroids. Does anyone care!?!? So many people dislike Bonds, McGuire, and Palmerio for their steroid problem but when this guy tested positive, people just shrugged off the test. COME ON PEOPLE. This guy used steroids!!! Second of all, he is blaming Jeff Fisher for trying to hurt the guy and he thought he was trying for the knees. If anyone watched the play, the Titans WR or TE hammered him in the head. It isn't a cheap shot. People, wake up! If you like this guy, please, explain to me how you do!

There are a lot of questions on here about the Patriots and what they will do with their first round pick from the 49ers. And alot of people are very quick to say how they got their first round pick taken away. That's true... they got THEIR first round pick taken away... the one that would come at the end of the first round of the draft. They didn't take the first round pick that we acquired from the 49ers this year. I think it's hilarious too... because it was this big punishment and now the Patriots... the best team in the league are gonna end up with a top 5 pick in the NFL Draft... a team that most likely will win the superbowl will be getting a top 5 draft pick! The rich only get richer! HAHA. Hilarious! Let the hate continue... I just eat it up now.

I admittedly am a die-hard Patriots fan, and I get so sick of people saying that if the Pats go undefeated and win the Super Bowl, they deserve an asterisk next to their record. I believe that people who believe this are living in a dream world, and aught to wake up and see the NFL for what it really is.

The NFL is chock full of controversy, players testing positive on drug tests, the whole Micheal Vick situation, and any number of arrests that have happened outside the field on game day, so why target the Pats? I know the answer but I don't have space to go into it here. All I am asking for this question is read this article, and I want all those Pats haters out there to tell me whether the Broncos deserve (*)'s next to their records, because they circumvented the salary cap, isn't that also cheating???

You can't be giving up 25+ points a game and expect to make it to the Superbowl. The offense is great but hopefully they can shore up the secondary. I am not dogging them but despite their 12-1 record its a different ballgame in the playoffs. Just my honest assessment.
