(Hopefully long)

And when does he start?

I think at least to June 2009...Bastard, personally, I think he should go for life or better yet the death penalty. In my opinion, anyone who wants to inflict that kind of pain on anything that has a heart beat should rot in hell, no matter how good he is at football.

Recently the Hollywood crown of Ed Asner, Mike Farrel, Susan Sarandon are calling for the release of a convicted cop killer in California yet the public is calling for the lynching of Michael Vick even after he gets 23 months. I have known people who have received less time for killing a human. You can have a drunk driver run over a family and kill all of them and get probation. Mike Huckabee the Arkansas governor released over 1000 prisoners and many were felons. I like animals but do not love them as much as my wife or daughters. Michael Vick made a mistake and has and will pay dearly for it but we do not have the right to snuff out all hope that he will never be a useful humanbeing again. I am a conservative white and do not even like the attitude of some pro sports.

Vick will spend 23 months behind bars, What he did is against the law, Not against his upbringing or what he saw done most of his life... Blood sports have been going on since time began, Fighting Roosters, Dogs, etc have been
used for hundreds of years,,,,, This is strictly a law being broken motivated by special interest groups, who spend more time minding someone elses business than there own,

What Vick did should be punished,,, And has been punished.

He was sentenced 23 months and since he had already been in jail for 1, he will be in for 22 months.

He got off lucky - sentenced only 23 months, but with good time could only do 20.5 - if it were you or me, we would have gotten the entire possible sentence of 5 years! He'll probably go to a minimum security prison, rather than a maximum - Actually I think they oughtta put him in a dog cage with a few fighting pit bulls!
He still could face additional state time - he hasn't been sentenced on that one yet - depends on if the state prosecutors decide to pursue it or not.

I heard about 2 1/2 years give or take.
A lot of his fans[ him included] think that is to `cruel' a punishment. He is lucky that this animal lover wasn't the judge! He would spend a long time working in an animal shelter cleaning up POO!
