Oh, god do I hope you're right.
First off, Florida Native here.
Secondly, there's this girl that works at the place that Nick and I go to every Saturday night, and she is obsessive about the Pats. Like seriously... obsessive. And when you even mention them, she starts whooping and hollering and literally shouting, saying, "They're the best f****** team ever! They'll kick anyones ***!" Blah, blah, blah. And that's cool, support your sports teams, but she's just crazy. So I really hope they lose... and it's even sweeter that the Dolphins are playing them. **crosses fingers and prays for the Pats to lose**
You got a star from me for this question.
Edited: I hope you don't mind... I just an idea for another question based on this one... if you mind, let me know and I'll delete it...

If Baltimore plays the same way like they did against the Colts, Dolphins have a shot at beating them.
I highly doubt Patriots will lose against the Phins....but if by some crazy outcome it does happen......I would just laugh and wonder how much of it had to do with pride of the Dolphin franchise to have the only undefeated team in league history.
My home team plays the Pats this upcoming weekend. =(

I would make a tiny poop in my lederhosen.
Miami has a chance but it is a small one. New England may not need to win the game so they could kick back and let Miami go crazy. It won't mean anything anyone.
I would love to have this be the season that the '72 Dolphins undefeated streak record is broken and Miami goes winless.

The Dolphins have scored more points than any other team against the Patriots this year. That fact notwithstanding, they don't have a reasonable chance without something going massively wrong for Pats.

Probably be mildly dissapointed. To see history made twicw in the same season (16-0/0-16) would be something to remember. If they played in week 17 it might be more palatable, as the symettry of the game would still be intact.

if the dolphins win i wont be happy because i am a Patroits fan and there is no way that a team that hasn't won any games wins their first game against an undefeated team. if that did happen i would definetley cry because that would be just plain pathetic on the patroits part.

I'd die. I mean look at it. Patriots toppled the Cowboys' winning streak. Then, toppled the Colts' winning streak. THEN, to probably clinch their perfect season, they topple the Steelers. If they lose to the Dolphins, hands down, it'd be the greatest upset in the history of the NFL.
