Michael Vick never has and never will be a great NFL player. He is a terrible quarterback.(had these discussions when he first went in nfl) But, Michael Vick is a very gifted athlete that probably would have made a great defensive back or even a wide receiver. He does not possess any quarterback qualities. I will always believe had he played another position, he would have been among the best because of his athletic ability.

How in the world can you put Micael Vick and Great in the same sentence what the hell has he ever done except be a ball hog and run for 1000 yards
he is not even in the Top 500 when it comes to Quarterbacks
i would rather have Rick Mirer on my team then Michael Vick and thats before the whole Dog Fighting incident

I think that there are enough athletes out there with great ability, skill, and Character which is what he's lacking, that you don't have to put these kind of characterless players on the team. We need more LTs, Maurice Jones Drews, Derrick Brooks, Peyton Mannings, men who actually can be Men someone that our children can look up to and want to be like. Men who actually care about giving back and helping those less fortunate as opposed to abusing helpless pups

He's a great athlete, not a great player. There's a huge difference.

I don't see why not.... People are blinded by what he did off field vs. the athlete he was when it came to playing football. 3 years ago, people were claiming him one of the best players in NFL and talking about MVP. The dude screws up for killing dogs now they want to place him in the lowest pits possible. It doesn't make sense to me.

you can line up almost any RB in the league at QB and he could do the same thing Vick did
