I think the biggest problem with the Dolphins is the coaching. Miami lost what, a half dozen games by 3 points or less? That's a result of poor coaching, when the coaches can't motivate their players to play a full 60 minutes.
Everyone used to talk about how much of an offensive genius Cam Cameron was when he was the offensive coordinator for the Chargers. I always thought he was the most unimaginative, predictable offensive coordinator I had ever seen. How hard is it to come up with run-run-pass (and then punt) on every possession?
Even if Miami manages to win a game this year, Cameron should be shown the door. He doesn't have the motivational skills to be a head coach in the NFL.

Honestly? Ok then...
I would probably keep most of the team.
http://www.miamidolphins.com/newsite/team/roster/roster.asp
They have lost 6 games by 3 points or less. They could with some breaks be 6 - 7 and in the playoff hunt if those breaks had fallen their way.
I would keep Taylor, Thomas, Porter, Crowder in their DEF. I would re-vamp their secondary and try and get a big DL to clog up the middle.
Their offense wasn't that bad with Brown in there. Beck isn't the answer, and neither is Lemon. Both make good back-ups. I would find a veteran QB without a history of concussions, and bring him in. Get a big play WR along with Ginn and your set.
I wouldn't do much...just bad breaks this year.
Good luck!!

Im a dolphins fan & I would keep about 6-7 players.
The rookie Center they drafted Samson Satele, Cleo Lemon, Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Keith Traylor, Cleo Lemon(way better than Beck, he is garbage!), Marty Booker, Ted Ginn(garbage too, he left his speed at OSU), Rickey Williams, Ron Brown, and Derek Hagan.
The rest can go to h e l l with Cam "Shaft" Cameron. (I call him shaft cause he doing us Dolphin fans for sure)
But have you noticed that Wes Welker(last years player), and Chris Chambers would still be Dolphins if I were at the helm. no way I trade Chris Chambers so that Tedd "U Must Be Drinkin" Ginn gets more plays at the Wide Out spot, that was a stupid move by management.

I would first ask the players on the team if they wish to stay or not. Then, for those that say they wish to stay I'd tell them that they have the remaining of the season to show me if they COULD make a difference in a game. Unlike the Patriots, the Dolphins do not care to win.

Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, John Beck, Ted Ginn Jr.
And of course one of the top 3 RBs in the NFL Ronnie Brown.

start fresh starting with the coaching staff and then spend the money you need to to acquire a franchise qb. then build from there with offense and defense
