a dangerous sleeper team? I'm not saying they will make the super bowl but I wouldn't be surprised if the Vikings upset one team in the playoffs. What do you think?

i think the vikings are extremely dangerous! I have been following the vikes for years and i have watched them developed a very strong team for this year. the thing that was stumping me was why they couldn't win! It was their qb!

Listen up! Brad Childress came to town! Before childress was the vikes head coach he was a very successful offensive coordinator for the Wisconsin Badgers! Jackson.... the vikes QB has more potential than people know, and now Childress is going to make that potential come out, make that team a family and give that team a superbowl.

They are dangerous and a superbowl team in the making! watch out pats!

vikings are becoming the most dangerous team in the nfl. No one cares about the patirots or colts or any of those teams that pay there players millions of dollars.

vikings have adrian all day peterson and chester the cheetah taylor. they also have sindey rice who is becoming a great wide receiver. tavaris jackson is becoming great as well and the o line is becoming impossible to get through.

The defense on the other hand is no question. easily the BEST defense in the nfl. Record was set yesterday with 3 dif d linemen getting an intereception. No running back can get through the williams. And the secondary is becoming great. cedric griffen, antoine winfield, darren sharper and dqight smith are all becoming really good.

BUT the most important fact of all about the vikes
3/4 of them are rookies

vikes have definatly got a super bowl in the next few years

I think they can be, although Adrian Peterson better not pull that type of game (14 att 3 yards) in the playoffs because even though Chestor Taylor has been great and Tavaris Jackson is getting better, they need a full game from everyone to be dangerous.

Because of their ability to run the football, that means two things: clock management, and their giving their defense plenty of rest. Now their defense has been playing great, but I'm still a lil suspect about their passing defense. They've shut down San Francisco, Detroit, New York, and Oakland....not exactly the Patriots, Packers, or Cowboys passing attack.

IF....the offense rolls, and the defense is able to play complete games, they can compete, but they can't get sloppy at all because looking ahaed, they would play Seattle in the first round, who is a pass happy team, and then if they advance would play Dallas. That's tough sledding but very possible.

honestly, I don't think so. I think they are doing a great job week to week with beating out teams, but the playoffs is a different ball game. You're playing the best teams in the league and I don't think the Vikings can deliver. I do think they will win the wildcard spot, but I don't think they will make it past that. Whoever they play in the wild card game which looks like it might be the giants who they beat horribly last week, I think it could be anyones game. The vikings could indeed beat the Giants again, but it will come downs as to who wants it more. I just don't they they have the experience needed to be in the playoffs. But next year, they will be a looked at team in the pre-season

Even though I'm a Packers fan I think the Vikings will make the playoffs, although they will probably get knocked out of the first round.
P.S. PACKERS NFC NORTH DIVISION CHAMPS! WOOHOO!

They aren't going. The Redskins will beat them in two weeks and knock them out of the playoff run.

If they step up and play the way they played the Chargers this year, they will definitely upset someone.
