I think it would have made more sense back in 2002 to make Gillette stadium a dome, because its New England and we get a bunch of bull**** weather. I for one am alittle concerned the Pat's have homefeild advantage, i wish they were playing down south or something during playoffs, because if u look at the stats, they completely dominate on days with good, warm conditions. Does anyone think that too, and does anyone know if the Kraft family are looking into that situation or what.

If the season ended right now the playoffs would look like this.
AFC
Cleveland at San Diego
Jacksonville at Pittsburgh
Bye: New England, Indianapolis
NFC
Minnesota at Seattle
New York at Tampa Bay
Bye: Dallas, Green Bay

Now play out the tournament base on who you think would win each game.

Georgia finished as one of the hottest teams in the nation this year, and look to enter next year's preseason in the top 5. They were matched up against Hawaii in this year's Sugar Bowl.

If UGA wins, many people will say, "OK, so what, you beat Hawaii, they don't play anybody".

If UGA loses, many people will say, "HOW the HELL did Georgia lose to Hawaii?!?!".

because I want McNabb to stay? I mean really, what do we have at QB besides him? AJ Feeley......good back-up but not a starter. Kolb....who knows, I'm not sold on him yet though. This reminds me of the draft, when everyone was booing McNabb because they wanted Rickey Williams. At the time we had Duece Staley and Charlie Garner, a great 1-2 attack. And who did we have at QB???? RODNEY PEETE!!!!!! Get a brain Eagles fans, McNabb has got ALOT of tread left on his tires, no need to throw an unproven rookie into the fire, and dear GOD don't start Feeley!!!!!!

I have little interest in what the dolphins actually do but as a football fan, i do find it perplexing that a guy who's team is 1-13 still has a job. Even if he is under contract, there must be a way to get rid of him or at least take away all of his power.

Like when Defensive lineman are done, they go on offense and become offensive lineman, corner backs become wide receivers (like deion sanders), and other positions flip flop (where possible).......etc

how come football isn't played like that? is it because of the possibility of too much injuries? or other reason?

thank you

In all but one the five years he coached there it was improvement. His first year 5-11, then 7-9 the next two and the fourth the team went 11-5. His last year though the team did go 5-11, but that was only because of all the controversy surrounding the teams, in what seemed like, emminent move to Baltimore. There was a lack of concentration from players and the fans of the team were furious... which is what led to a bad season and because of Belichick's anger with the people trying to move the team he resigned as head coach. If Belichick just had the backing of the owners like he does in New England... well, Cleveland would of been a force to be reckoned with... and the scary thing is, Belichick was still learning. Cleveland really lost out in losing Belichick. I mean I remember watching them during those years and thinking to myself... "Wow... they're getting better." When they went 5-11 that year... I felt they would bounce back until I heard Belichick was leaving.

I know, I know... another Tom Brady question. I know how much it must annoy some of you, but believe me... it annoys me more to read untrue trash about Brady then it does for some of you to read questions that defend him. If this question annoys some people though... don't read or respond to it. Very simple. These are the top things I have Brady accused of being: Smug, arrogant, a crybaby and unsportsmanlike. None of those are true of the guy. I'm not even going to explain why... I challenge all the people who dislike Brady to follow the Patriots like your a fan of theirs for a while... watch the games closely, watch postgame interviews with Brady, go to Patriots.com and watch the press conferences with him... just do some serious Brady research and then maybe you'll come of it saying to yourself "Wow... I was really wrong to ever label Brady like I did."

Now, Randy Moss, when he was with the raiders, he could only rack up about 60 catches a year, and alot of other recievers, too. Steve Smith has QB problems and still has close to 80 catches.

My suspicion is none. I"m not saying it is impossible, but I would be surprised if Terelle Pryor ends up at Michigan. He is a very smart kid and if he wants to play on Sunday's. Rich Rodriguez is not going to get him there. He will be looking for someone to improve his game not just use his athleticism.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Florida State coach Bobby Bowden called off an afternoon practice Wednesday to meet with his players, about two dozen of which are expected to be suspended for the Music City Bowl for involvement in an academic cheating scandal.
The university, citing federal privacy laws, has not identified the athletes being disciplined for cheating on an online music history exam. At least two football players already have been penalized for their involvement.

Athletes from other sports were also involved.

It is a real dilemma for me as I do not like either team. For me, my dislike of the Packers is a bit more intense because I am a Bears fan, but I can not ever really see myself cheering for Dallas.
