I assume you're an idiot by the question you just asked so trying to explain rational thoughts to you will just be a waste of time.

I don't hate Michael Vick. I hate what he did, and would still be doing if he wasn't caught. Yes, he did kill animals. He electrocuted one that was too injured to fight back. He grabbed another by it's collar and swung him high over head, and back down onto the concrete repeatedly until it was dead because it was too nice, and wouldn't fight. He has admitted to drowning others that where used to train his fighting dogs. Not only this, but he also financed some of the dog fights making it possible for even more dogs to be tortured and killed.
People are trying to blame color and upbringing on this, but that is not the case. This man cold heartedly raised dogs to hate one another, tortured and starved these dogs so that they will have that killer instinct, forced them to fight their own kind so that humans could bet on them, and then murdered when they either lost too often, or could no longer fight.
Dog fights are sick. At least prize fights between humans can be blamed on the fighters themselves, but dogs have no say so, and a majority of pit bulls today are born only to die. It is a sad case, and Michael Vick was given everything to become something, but he threw it all away of the sport of Dog Fighting. He needs to be made an example of, plain and simple.

Training dogs to fight and kill each other doesn't make you a bad person? And you're incorrect in stating that he didn't kill the dogs - he has admitted that.
This guy had everything - more money than he could ever spend, an NFL career, but he made bad choices and is now paying for them.
If he finds God while in jail - more power to him; but he still needs to pay the price for those bad choices.
Comparing what he did as a grown man to what someone did when they were a kid is an idiotic argument.

Well Vick was a no talent hack in the first place. Never should have been a pro qb, maybe a safety or rb but not qb. His scrambling was good at VTech but the pro's are a different level. But I always enjoyed watching my Orange take down him and the Hokies..
And then there is that dog killing thing too...

1-maybe it does make you a bad person, especially when you try to get away with it right up till the end and violate the terms of your plea bargain (lied, drugs).
2-he admitting to personally killing 8 dogs
3-there is a difference in stealing some money and setting up illegal gambling enterprises where dogs fight to the death, an enterprise that also results in other people's pets being stolen for use as "practice" against the fighting dogs
4-he had made a 100+ million dollar committment to his sport, team, city, and fans. he broke that committment and left them all hanging in order to engage in activities he knew were illegal
5-let him finish his jail time before singing his praise buddy.

He admitted to the fact, that he killed dogs. He tortured and killed dogs, while gambling upon the outcome in the dogfights. He lied to the authorities, obstructed justice, and is the lowest possible scum of the earth. Reason enough for people to vilify him. I hope the NFL never allows him to play again. He is a disgrace to humanity.

Did you really compare killing animals to beating someone up in a fight?
He admitted to funding the whole operation and even killing some of the dogs. Not even quickly. They had to suffer before they died too.

First of all, I would like to say that I love the people who try to turn this into something racial...to those of you who do, STOP BEING COMPLETE MORONS, if Vick was white he would be punished exacltly the same if not worse, Vick did kill the dogs, he bought the dogs and breed them to kill that is just sick, to say he doesn't deserve jail time is at the least absurd.

I don't hate Vick, but I think he is an idiot who has squandered away something most of us could only dream of achieving. You've got to think about kids who watch these guys every week and want to play football at that level. Many dream of it, few realize it. He took it all for granted. And he did break the law.

God can forgive him, but the justice system should not. I'm sure if he starts making donations to animal shelters and making animal rights activism a part of his life, many people would forgive him, but I don't see that happening.
