I have little interest in what the dolphins actually do but as a football fan, i do find it perplexing that a guy who's team is 1-13 still has a job. Even if he is under contract, there must be a way to get rid of him or at least take away all of his power.

Cam Cameron inherited a mess of a team from that scummy Nick Saban. He has to at least be given 2 or 3 years to prove himself by default because the team he took over was so pathetic.

i think of undesirable QB play wasn't the only reason Singletary have been given fired. the guy is extremely previous-college and seems quite obdurate. John Fox would be long previous, in spite of the shown fact that it is a crying shame simply by fact the Panthers GM has screwed him. there is no skills in this group in any understand. I watch this group each and each week, and that they only flat out suck, no guidance can help that! Tony Sparano feels like a respectable coach and yea i might agree, undesirable QB play is probable explanation why the Dolphins suck. Their protection is respectable, yet Chad Henne basically isnt the respond in spite of having respectable WRs in Marshall and Bess. Coughlin has to flow. aside from that great bowl 12 months, they keep dropping in November and December, so there's a scientific project there. Kubiak is obviously long previous. He'd probable make a respectable offensive coordinator yet Mario WIlliams is extremely underrated and desires some respectable skills to be effective in his finished capacity. Jeff Fisher is in all possibility long previous simply by way his group is appearing without Vince youthful. perhaps it's time for substitute there Marvin Lewis would be long previous simply by fact his contract is expiring and he particularly hasn't had lots success. somewhat, Carson Palmer would not seem that undesirable, i think of playing on a collection with TO and Ochocinco is the reason of his undesirable play. Palmer had his appropriate interest of the season the day previous and that's without his 2 vast crybabies. i don't understand what to think of of Mangini, i think of he ought to get a minimum of one greater 12 months. yet he ought to have a triumphing season next 12 months. Del Rio is respectable, yet Garrard has been regularly occurring and that's the reasonwhy his group won't be able to look to recover from the hump. Their protection is nice. Norv Turner- returned, there's a scientific project there. Why wait so overdue in the season to get issues rolling?

They're probably not going to fire Cam Cameron on this first season. He came into a team with no talent, and the team has struggled with injuries across the board. With Parcells coming in now, there's a good chance that he'll give Cam another year to start getting this ship turned around.

Its not Cameron's fault that Trent Green and Zach Thomas got a concussion, or his 1st and 2nd RBs got hurt. Just like the Rams, the Fins are plagued by injuries. Plus, its his 1st year as head coach and the players have to adjust to his system, which takes time. There were a lot of games that they lost by less then 5 points. Give the guy a break!

You have to give him time to turn them around. Remember in 89 under Jimmy Johnson the Cowboys were 1-15, three years later they won the first of three Super Bowls. The first team to win three out of four. Bill's first year with the Pat's they were 5-11, look at them now. It takes time to turn a program around and with the mess he walked into, they really need to give him some time before they know how good a coach is.

NFL teams RARELY fire a guy before the season is over. There aren't enough games to fire a guy and then replace him AND evaluate the new guy. This isn't the NHL/NBA where you get 82 games. You only get 16, so most coaches won't be fired until the end of the final game.

When Bill Parcells sits down at his desk for the first time, the coaching staff might as well give notice, so they don't have to be fired. And next will be the vast roster of quitters....the new sheriff is not filling up the jail cells, he is giving notice to a bunch to get out of town within the hour.

Because he's a 1st year coach who lost alot of player this year to injury.
Yeah they're only 1-13 but 6 of their losses were by 3 points.

Not bad for a band-aid team.

Well, maybe Bill Parcells will eventually wind up coaching the Dolphins...but in fairness to Cam, its only been 1 year...

This is only his first year as a head coach, so maybe they will give him some leeway. Plus he has had a ton of injuries and that might be an excuse that allows the heads to keep him around for at least another year.
