I just saw a stat yesterday that the SEC schools have the lowest academic standards of all the Div 1 A schools , hey but who cares we can play some football right .

Wow, I'm still trying to figure out how these morons can JUSTIFY Ohio State being in the BCS Championship Game, and not Hawai'i or Kansas.

Let's see, Ohio State din't WIN a conference Championship game. Hasn't beaten ANYONE ranked in the top 20!!!!

How do you vote Ohio State #1, and NOT Hawai'i??? or Kansas???

i am a big fan of Lsu. but i think that ga should be in it. lsu shouldnt have jumped all the way from 7th to 2nd. georgia is the team to beat, when it comes down to it. they are better than all the other teams in the nation. sure, they didnt show up for the gamecocks or the gators. but u just wait till next year

If you could only pick one team which would it be and of what year? Why?
With all this talk about the Pats as the best team ever I just want to hear everyones opinion on who they think should wear this label. I am a Pats fan and yes they are amazing this year but its not over yet so I do feel they can't have that label just yet.

Mizzou - Finished #6 in the final BCS rankings with only a regular season loss to Oklahoma (losing the Big 12 title game came at a bad time) - beat both Illinois (who beat OSU) and Kansas. Yet Illinois gets the Rose Bowl and KU gets the Orange Bowl, leaving Missouri to play against 8-4 Arkansas in the meaningless Cotton Bowl.

Just how many more year-after-year examples are needed to prove to everyone in this country that the BCS is the worst abject failure in the history of NCAA collegiate sports?

I know OSU is going to be in the BCS title game, but why in the hell is LSU there and not VT? Both teams won their respective confrences but VT was ranked higher in the BCS, played a higher ranked team(BC was 11th, Tenn. was 14th), and matched LSU's record(both were 11-2). Yes, VT lost 48-7 to LSU in week 2, but with the way the current BCS system seems to work they reward play closer to the end of the season. So someone please explain to me why LSU is playing for the title even after losing to an unranked Arkansas team, when the 2 games VT lost both teams were ranked 2nd in the nation.

Oh yeah I almost forgot. Does Kansas have a right to be in the Orange Bowl when Mizzou was not only ranked higher, they beat Kansas last week....

Is it just me.. or were the refs horrible?
i heard that they only reffed for a year...

pass interference over tripping feet? not intentional and that cowboy player .. i don't think had a chance catching it anyway..

and al harris intercepting t.o's pass but they called him out of bounds??

even dallas cowboys fans agreed that those 2 plays should've been in green bay's favor.. but umm. what's goin on with the refs...

and if so... with the refs had different calls to that.. you think that green bay would've won??

Im really liking that Capital one Bowl with Michigan And Florida im pretty sastified being a Michigan Fan that we didnt get some trashy team and play and the alamo bowl lol...cant wait to see tim tebow play....And what do yall think about hawaii being in the sugar bowl!!!

because it makes regular season games MEANINGFUL. last year, the OSU/Michigan game was an awesome game to watch because they knew whoever won was in the championship. THE REGULAR SEASON IS THE PLAYOFFS. without BCS, no one would even care about games like OSU/Michigan because it wouldn't matter, both teams would end up in the playoffs. and even if you do have an 8 team playoff, then there's going to be arguments for who the top 8 teams should be. there is no easy answer. BCS is the best system in college football. that's what separates it from other sports (especially college basketball). regular season games mean EVERYTHING because you CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE.

everyone always says they hate the BCS but i'm telling you right now, if they change it you will miss it when the regular season is a joke. who agrees?

The guy was tearing it up before his injury, carrying the team with huge games. Then he gets a minor injury and Fargus comes in. Fargus didn't play well that game either. How come the Raiders are going to other guys when Jordan was looking so good at the beginning of the season? I don't understand how the guy loses his spot when he was carrying the quarterbackless Raiders.
